Amazing what you find when you start shoveling shit out in the pre-move packup/toss out. Edited to provide a new, colorized, and more easily read version...

AWESOME!
So, which hatching grounds were destroyed? Northern or Eastern?
This may be very helpful for all of you finishing up stories...hint, hint....

Map...YOU HAVE A MAP? give me, give, me give me...please!!! I take it it is not posted yet, or may be it is the computer I am on (work, but break time) I have been trying to figure out just where T'lar's weyr is at. I am at a point in my story where T'lar is looking out of his weyr and I realised, I did not know what he is seeing...is it high up, or down low?Andy Andy

Andy--the image is in Anna's first post, here. Your work computer may be blocking the graphic. Glad to see you posting!

I'll try to be more visible and my e-mal inbox is open to any and all. Real world is got me going right now (make that, all the time, I'm married). Hey hope...got a question, do I qualify for OTMR under my name? I have been with StarRise since around 2002 and I was intrusted with the care and updating of the winglist for both StarRise and Igen up until the sad day that both weyrs were closed. IMHO, yes, you qualify. I do not, however, even vaguely understand how Anna applies the labels, so we'll have to ask her when she surfaces.
Did you get the story I sent you? T'lar doesn't have a speaking part, but the wing gets a cameo.

That's what they say in the real estate market. Hope, you were right, the filter at work was blocking the map. Having looked at it and failing to find what I was looking for. The writing is hard for my old eyes to read. Even tried a magnifying glass from a far viewer I took apart turns ago, and still could not make out all of them. Where are the wingleader's weyrs at? Are they at ground level or are they up high? Do they have a private bath like the weyrwoman's weyrs at Benden. If not where are the baths? Started to write what I was seeing in my mind's eye and realized it might be incorrect. I did not want to write the scene and then have to rewrite or delete it so I would thought I would ask. Andy

Once I get home again, I'll try to redo the labels on the map. This is basically a 'ground level' map. All the dragon weyrs would be above it. I'll work on maybe getting more detailed with those after the Great Move. Or before. You never know what bee might bite my brain.

The Dragons eye...where is it? I was going to have T'lar mosey up there, but I need some information. How do you reach it? Is there access from the weyr (tunnel?) or is it assessable by dragon wing only? or both? If so where is the parking space for the beasts? Does it have a view of the outside or does it only look out on the Weyrbowl? Can anyone give me an image of the decor? Andy Oh!...and how much are the drinks???

It's on the outside face of the Weyr, ground level, near the docks.

Hope--I'd think the eastern Hatching Ground would be the one that collapsed. It makes sense to me that Vinalli's gold would lay her eggs near her rider's weyr.
This does beg the question of--If we needed two hatching Grounds at one time, how are we going to manage with just one, now?

In another topic (the Hatching open RP one questions one) I put down the Northern hatching grounds as the one that collapsed... Technically, we CAN get by on just one with careful finagling on stuff. But sometimes there's just a day or two between a hatching the commencement of another egg laying! We could get a story out of this, and having the Eastern cavern reopened. Who wants to fight with D'ven?
