I am good to go for ApolloCon and have my room reserved. Looking forward to seeing some folks there.

Sheesh! What a rollercoaster ride... I found out the week my family is supposed to have a week-long family reunion in Seguin for my father-in-law's 75th birthday is the week after Apollocon. I finally found out that we will be leaving on Sunday, not Friday. So I will indeed get to attend the con on Friday and part of Saturday! All I have to do is call the hotel and see what to do about my room. I guess I can have the concierge store my suitcase once I check out, and I can pick it up when I leave. I will miss the Saturday night stuff, alas, but I will be there from sometime Friday evening to sometime Saturday afternoon.

Chantal-- The Doubletree has great customer service. They'll be happy to store your luggage for you until you leave. I've always been very impressed with how friendly their staff is, especially since Cons can be so... you know. Crazy.
See you there!

It was so much fun seeing Chantal this weekend! I think she saw a whole different side of ME. ApolloCon is a "let down my hair" con for me and... I definitely did.
