I've taken Susan's timeline, corrected and added to it, to reflect the last two major disasters for us. 
25.09.27 Windwall collapses during a earthquake. Climatic changes world-wide as the planet's natural air currents are disrupted by the sudden release of the massive winds that formed the barrier.
28.06.27 Earthquake at sea causes tsunamis all along the the Eastern Ring Islands. Aftershocks lead to the eruption of a dormant volcano near StarRise Weyr at the same time that the Weyr is holding it's Annual Spring Games. Gas kills a massive amount of riders. Survivors are sent to the nearest holds to assist in evacuation. Another aftershock causes the collapse of the hatching ground ceiling, instantly killing Weyrwoman Vinalli and her gold, as well as the eggs hardening on the sands. In the lower caverns, a previously unknown cave system is revealed when a wall collapses, and a lethal gas pocketed there is released. The majority of lower caverns folk are killed as the gas floods throughout the lower caverns. The weyrfolk not in the lower caverns, or in the dining hall, crafter caverns, or individual weyrs, immediately evacuate.
28.06.28 Immediate Rescue and Evacuation efforts as the other Weyrs send folk help relocate the displaced StarRise Weyr folk and the holders/crafters caught by the tsunamis.
28.07.01 Major Conclave to discuss what happened and what to do about it. StarRise riders are reassigned to random Weyrs around Pern while StarRise is evaluated and a discussion is made as to whether StarRise Weyr should continue from its present location. (Lots of heated discussion of the StarRise Curse). Weyrleaders discuss how they will cover Threadfall for StarRise Territory as they approach the heaviest Falls of the Pass. Etc Etc
