I met Tracy through Fort, originally. She had a goldrider named Rennavaine that was absolutely too much...and she was willing to laugh at how sweet, innocent and good she was, and willing to have the poor dear get into all sorts of funny problems in other peoples stories. This might, briefly, distract you from the fact that she was a very talented artist, who did pictures that combined her own style with a very real feel for the characters.
The last time I knew an email for her, I was in Residency in PA. The email address didn't make the move to MA, so it's been 12 years since I've heard anything from or about her. I hope she's still doing art!

Was she in ForTen? Or Fort 9? I don't think I ever heard of her....

*ears perk up* Tracy Davis? That's also the name of a Slytherin student at Hogwarts. (g) She must have been in Forten, because I'm not familiar with her art, though I do remember Rennavaine's name.

Tracy was at ForTen and at Haven. She was also in the Dinotopia club, Chantal! She did my picture of Eloquence and Val.
Unfortunately, it's not exactly an unusual name! I think she's late 30's now, although that's only a guess, and doesn't make finding her much easier!

Which reminds me--who was the guy who used to run the Dinotopia club? Was it David Mackenzie? I wonder if he would ever consider starting that back up again. Probably not, because he was an extreme perfectionist about it. I miss that little group.

I think it was. I think I recall him mentioning something about it when I first joined StarRise....

I met Tracy in person at a Con in Detroit. She was a sweet person who was both a talented writer and artist. Unfortunately I lost track of her when I stepped down from Haven.

Tracy was so nice. And her art was awesome. The characters always had the BEST clothes. (Seriously! Great detail. Adorable dragons, great people, but no one drew clothes like Tracy.)

OK, I am going to offer a bounty for anyone who manages to track down Tracy. $20 to the charity of your choice (no political groups, please) for information leading to contact!!!! If multiple people manage it, I'll honor this for the first five.
Hey, it's worth a try!

I already tried Googling her, but I don't know enough about her to narrow down the search results.

I met Tracy in person at a Con in Detroit. She was a sweet person who was both a talented writer and artist. Unfortunately I lost track of her when I stepped down from Haven. I remember that con, Deb... ConClave, I believe it was. That was my first con ever, and first time meeting SO many people... in some cases, the only time. IIRC, that was the time that the life-sized cutout of Lug the watchwher debuted.... Back on topic, I saw Tracy again at a ForTen gather the following year, and I believe she returned to the club after a hiatus, but I'm not sure for how long. She gave ForTen its own comic strip, "The Lighter Side of Fort". I miss that.

He never did much writing, but he artwork was fantabulous. Remember that front/back color cover he did for that one issue? I wish I still had a copy of it!

I need to find my back issues. They've got to be around here somewhere!
