Andi Bennett-Banks once wrote two dragonhealer characters, one at Fort 9 named Deleyan and one at Sable named Iantha. I wrote to Andi today to ask if she had kept any notes, and she said she pretty much just made things up as she went along but kept things consistent.
So, if anyone has access to old issues of Harper Beat and Flights of Fancy, those would be good sources for dragonhealer info, if you can find the stories featuring Dele or Iantha.
One thing that I remember about Deleyan is that he did embroidery as a way to practice stitching.
I was reminded of that years later when I learned a story of Dr. Michael DeBakey visiting a young patient one day whose mother was sewing a dress for her daughter. DeBakey looked at the mother's sewing, said "Those seams are terrible. Do you mind if I...?" The dumbfounded mother handed the dress over, and DeBakey started working away on it.

I heard back from Andi. She made up everything as she went along, so nothing is written in stone, and we can invent our own take on the dragonhealer craft.

I'm interested in showing collaboration between the dragonhealers and people healers, since the relationship between a dragon its rider is of such vital importance to both parties.
I will be writing (with Kris) a story in which Aerden and Lushin present a joint paper to a group of dragonhealer masters and Weyr healers. I'm guessing the audience will be small and rarified, mainly because Pern does not strike me as being the sort of culture greatly given to professional conferences.

That would depend on what pass you are in, I recall that in the books Dragonseye (UK: Red Star Rising) they did have a conferences, and I also recall that the best way was to teach new things was the newer one heading in healing, also depend on the background for like runner-bred Moreta, and her staff found it useful.
