FenCon is over and done, now. But there are plenty of conventions to come! ConDFW, same location, in Feb. 12-14. Elizabeth Moon, a successful author and one of Anne's co-authors, will be a guest of honor. www.condfw.org/This convention seems very writing-focused, based on the panels they had last year. And they'll also have a writing contest! Until October 31st, membership is only $25.00.

Is anyone else planning to attend this? I can actually afford to, since the rooms are $99.00 a night, and I'd be happy to share.

Angel would kill me if I went to this instead of AggieCon. AggieCon is the weekend before, in College Station, TX. Todd will be there.

Hm! I'll look into AggieCon. I've never actually gone to one.

It's a very small con held at the college. I've been once, when Todd was a guest of honor. It's become somewhat of a tradition for Todd to go and Angel and company to go, too. I'd prefer to go to ConDFW, since it seems to be much more writing focused, but it's been ages since I've seen Angel, and College Station is only about an hour and a half further away from me than Dallas is. aggiecon.tamu.edu/Oh, and the hotel rates look to be the same as ConDFW.
