This charming story introduces us to an underused population at the Weyr...weyrbrats. The characters are not "minature adults"; they're kids, with the impulses, dynamics, and bad decisions that most of us try to forget from our own childhoods. The logic, inconceivable in adults, is spot on for the protagonists. Watching these miscreants grow up (hopefully slowly) should be a pleasure.

Lol, how many times did you get in trouble when someone double dog dared you? I know I did. Got quite a chuckle out of the story and since I was raised on a farm...need I say more?
