We are including a section in the zine called 'In Memoriam.' This section is for sharing memories and thoughts on our friends who are gone.
If you would like to share an anecdote, memory, or simply your thoughts on one of our friends who are no longer with us, please submit it to one of the leadership team and it will be included in the zine.
Gone should never mean forgotten.

You know, I just remembered that I wrote a Pernese funeral song back when I was still active in Fort 9. It was set to the tune "Rogues In a Nation" and was called something like, "Farewell from Cold Between." It was sung from the POV of a dragonrider who had died. I wonder if Kristeen's sister would be interested in me sending it to her.
*misses LouAnn and Kris Sr.*

If you can remember or find the words, please post it under the HarperHall filk section. (I also really want your song about the deaf dragonrider--"Nimble fingers/tell my story/ as mem'ry beckons/back in time....")
I'm missing Kris a lot, too. I'm sorry I never got to meet LouAnn.

Wow, I'm amazed you remembered that!
et's see... ...As memory hastens back in time To a dark corner and a stranger Whose hand reaches out toward mine.
It's an Impression song, and I can remember the melody just fine, but the words are eluding me.

Chantal--with effort, I think we could recreate most of it!
"Bones tingle Body Trembles For No Reason that I can see. Why the running? Why the shouting? If Impression's just a foolish dream? But I Still Yearn to hear a dragon's voice Still long to fill the empty void As a Wild hope fights despair in me I hurry on Nerveless feet...."
OK, does that jog any memories?
