Please indicate the font you'd like the text of Out of the Blue to be in.

While I have voted, I know that we have two members with visual issues. If one font or another is markedly easier for them to read, I would prefer we go with that. My bifocals and I are also wondering if we might have a font SIZE above tiny?

I was thinking 11, but we can up that to 12, if preferred. Page count is not an issue. Clarity is!

I really don't care what font we use as large as it is large enough to read. Even with my glasses some print is difficult to see.

Deb, what size is too small for you? I tend to default to 11pt, zines used to be printed (as far as I know) as 10pt., but Word defaults to 12pt. Also, the online zine is easily customizable for viewing. You can always zoom in. But if you plan to print the zine to read (as I do, so the full art effect can be appreciated), then I want to make sure we print at a easily read size. I need to publish at that size so y'all don't have to resize the font and muck up the layout and graphics...

From a publishing standpoint, serif fonts (like TNR) scan more easily, which is why they are most widely read. Personally, I think 12 point is most comfortable with TNR. (When I submit a ms in TNR, I bump it up to 14 points, which looks huge to me, but makes it easier on editor's tired eyes. Which is immaterial here, and I'm just rambling now.*) Rounder founds like Garamond and Arial, 11 points isn't bad. But since page space isn't an issue, I vote for 12 point whatever font you use.
But all that aside, I'm with Hope. Go with what's easiest for the people who have visual issues.
*And yes, I am incapable of giving a short opinion on anything.

12pt. type in Times New Roman is good for me. 14's even better, but that begins to get obnoxious for people who can see well.
