Hmm..have a question for you to toss around. What would you do with a dragonrider who is stalking another dragonrider? He's obsessed with her to the point it's getting out of control. How would the Weyrleaders handle the situation since he isn't from StarRise but his victim is. I don't usually write stories like this but sometimes my characters want their own story told in their way.

I'd think the Sr. Weyrwoman would tell her queen to inhibit the stalker's dragon from flying to or going between to anyplace where the stalkee is. Then I'd expect the Weyrleader to give the stalker orders not to leave his/her home Weyr, if it becomes too much of a problem. That sort of thing would interfere with both their abilities to fly Thread, and that's what comes first.
I'd also order the stalker to undergo mindhealing in hopes that it might work.

I figure he is timing it so that no one knows he is going to StarRise. There are little things that makes Dani think she is going crazy until she comes to her weyr and finds things trashed. She has no proof that it is the dragonrider. I think there will be a confrontation with the rider and probably some punches are thrown but nothing that would upset the dragons. With both the Telgar Queen and the StarRise Queen reinforcing orders there is no way Barith with disobey no matter what his rider wants. And yes the Weyrwomen could make L'ron get treatment. Thanks Chantal. I wasn't sure how to wrap up the story but I think I have a pretty good idea now.

Not for me to say but I completely agree with the dominant dragons getting into the act and the weyrleaders...I also think they'd look at the riders history and see if this was a part of his personality make up...as if it is it could happen again even if he was grounded to his own weyr...I think they might consider some kind of chemical hinderance if the mindhealing and such didn't work.
Cool story.

I have another question. Is there any way he can sneak into the weyr unchallenged? It would be without his dragon. I thought maybe come in as a worker. No one really pays attention to the drudges. He could go nearly anywhere and no one would question his being there. I think his dragon would be close but not where he would be detected.

I'd think he could easily get in disguised as part of a tithe train's crew. His problem would be getting back to his home Weyr--in my scenario, the dragon couldn't come with him.
There are times when I think Mercedes Lackey's idea of repudiation makes a lot of sense.
