In my mind, this wins the title of "creepiest story" in this issue. I find that who I thought someone was...is not at all who they are. There are relevations, and plot twists, yet all the action takes place in one room. Very well done. I cannot say any more without spoilers!

I have to agree. I haven't finished all the stories but Unleashed is the one that really stands out this time. I don't know anything about the characters but they really reached and and grabbed me.

Wow... and I was worried that this would read like a jumbled filler story. Hope - I'm guessing that you're speaking of S, hmmm? Deb - I've been working on my skills at making exposition less boring. Did it work? Incidentally, the woman who appears in the one flashback (and is later referenced in the present-day scene) is available if anyone wants to take her and run with her. She was inspired, at least in part, by "YoSaffBridge" from Firefly...

Thom, it definitely made me want to learn more about the history of Lord Black and Company. It sure wasn't boring.

Me, I was just reading gape-mouthed, thinking, "Someone captured Lord Black? With what army?" Very good story, Thom!
