I've been told that my Aunt Frances is unlikely to live to see Thanksgiving. We've known she was going to die for a while; she stopped undergoing chemotherapy for cancer over the summer. I just didn't expect her to start deteriorating so rapidly, so soon. I'll let you all know if I will need to be away for any length of time.

I'm so sorry, my dear. I'll keep a good thought for you and Aunt Frances.

All--We have had my aunt's funeral, and things are slowly getting back to normal, otherwise. Now that the insanity of Christmas and end-of-year is pretty much over, I can get back in here, as usual.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. The funeral was not as disastrous as I'd feared it would be, with only one incident with my Grandma after the main service, which was quickly and gently resolved. My cousin is still going through my aunt's stuff, and she's still down here a lot.
I have missed you guys. *Hugs*

We missed you, too, hon, and are glad you're back. We're here if you need us. We're also here if you wish you could get rid of us...
