Physical Description: Tall, muscular build without being muscle-bound. Atlon is very dark, with short, wiry hair that he wears cut very short. He has a squarish face, strong jaw and chin, full lips and a straight nose slightly on the wide side. Reference: Don Franklin (Commander Jonathan Ford from SeaQuest). He tends to wear trousers and a shirt/tunic type outfit. The tunic collar comes up an inch or so on the neck, with a gap in the front where the shirt shows. It looks very much like he's wearing a uniform, sometimes.

06.12.03 -- Atlon is sent out on fostering to another Hold. He is not happy to leave his friends, Beloren and Breshan behind

20.01.19 -- Holder Franzen dies. Atlon takes Hold
Background: Atlon had a normal enough childhood for a Holder's heir. He became friends with Beloren, a child in the hold near his own age, and the two were seldom separated. He was absolutely enthralled with Breshan, Beloren's younger sister, and doted on the girl even when they were children. Atlon fought being fostered because he didn't want to leave his friends. When he finally returned home at 15 turns, Breshan had left for the Healer Hall and B'loren had been Searched for Haven Weyr. Despite the distance between them, the three managed to exchange letters, and occasionally visits -- especially after B'loren graduated from weyrling training. Atlon still adores Breshan and only her dedication to healing has kept him from asking her to become his Lady.
Personality: A quiet, responsible man, Atlon puts his Hold and holders first in his responsibilities. Driven and determined, Atlon generally achieves almost anything he puts his mind to. Not open to criticism, he knows what his faults are and does not want someone else pointing them out to him. Any questioning of his authority is not easily tolerated and very few people can actually do it without repercussions -- and they can't even do it in another's hearing or sight.
