Sean Connell's bronze, and Faranth's preferred mate.

Y'know...after looking at these sizes again, something occurs to me. Now, we all know that bronzes actually aren't supposed to be able to catch greens very often. The greens are caught and the flight's over before those big boys can really get their wings going. Of course, we tend to ignore this in fandom... But, should that bronze actually catch that green, and if everything is in proportion, couldn't that be a physical difficulty, if not danger?

Amazingly, chihuahua's do survive great danes. Nature has successfully dealt with differences more frightening than that.

I always figured, too, that greens are just too quick and agile for the bronzes to catch. Blues would have a distinct advantage. For a bronze, it's probably not really worth the frustration. :-)

That is like the greatest thing I have ever seen! They show Ramoth next to a jet, yet you never see a dragon next to a person. That rocks!! DLG A Queen/Gold Egg a Bronze Rider and his dragon just up to his knee. Also when dragon are large a rider mounted between the neck ridges. Pg. 35 Pg. 34 Show one of orginal dragons and his rider.

OK, dumb question: Who's Carenath? Sean Connell's bronze dragon, and from the First Hatching onward the leader of Dragon riders of Pern.

Ginny--thanks, but Anna answered first...last year. This thread is just still up to show the pretty pictures. The art is, honestly, better than that in the DLG. Pity they couldn't get Robin Wood for that....
