Since M'lin and P'dron are just transfering in to StarRise I think it would be more polite to accept weyrs that are assigned to them. They aren't real picky but a private bathing pool would be nice especially if you're entertaining. Not being wingleaders, they don't get private bathing rooms. They'll have to share with 4 to 8 other people. But that's better than sharing with the entire Weyr, isn't it?

Clear skies I read that the weyrs are not all level...some are higher, some are lower. Could a ground level weyr still be 25 or 30 feet off the bowl floor? If so Wingleader T'lar would request L1 #22(xl) Southwest Quadrant. If not, then L2 #26(xl) Southwest Quadrant.
Thanks Anna, and all the rest of admin for all the work you do!

Remember, level 1 weyrs are not ground level. The other thread explains that. Level one is the first level above the ground level, of which we already have a pretty detailed map. I even numbered and labeled it for you, Andy, since you asked so nicely. The walls of the Weyr can be pretty steep. We don't have a hard and fast number, so I'll make one up now. Let's say the caldera height ranges from 275 meters to 350 meters (not counting the ends, where it's dropping down to ground level by the docks and beach). We'll say each level is a height of approximately 50 feet: extended 25 above and 25 feet below the level mark (which is painted on the Weyr walls). So, level one weyrs are located between 50 and 100 feet from the ground floor of the Weyr. Keep asking the questions, Andy. I will get all this compiled and put into one clear document eventually!

Ok...here it goes: (and there are a few questions at the end) K'leren wants: NEQ L2.23 *XL* (will take NEQ L2.06 as a second choice) A'rujan wants:NEQ L2.17*M* or NEQ L3.07 *M* T'zeo wants: NEQ L2.03 *S* or NEQ L3.06 *S* And I'm looking for a little clarification about where Shonde, the candidate master calls home? (where exactly is she stuffing brown Ogirith?) if its possible can she be ground floor due to her disability? (also it should reflect that on the winglists that she's non-active w/ regard to fighting thread) And, I'd like to know if it is possible that Amai has a chamber somewhere as well (that can serve as room, storage and office for her) location? (privacy? please?) And I know that Rekishi hasn't impressed yet, so is this going to be a running thread so that as new 'riders impress they can then stake claims for their weyrs? (am going to go back to my corner now)

Clear skies! I know Kemmi would have to be on the ground as she's a journeyman healer. I'mnot sure exactly where she'd be quartered. Then there is D'nali and bronze Garath. They are weyrlings ATM but will be graduation some time in about nine months. When the time comes to choose a weyr, He'd like NEQ L3-21 Large. I know it won'tr be for a while yet, but thought it couldn't hurt to reserve a place.

Anna, none of your images came through on my computer so go ahead and choose somewhere for M'lin, P'dron and Dani. Doesn't really matter where. Might be interesting if they were all close together though. (Plots are cooking!)

(am going to go back to my corner now) Okay, K'leren, A'rujan, and T'zeo all get their first choices for weyrs! Shonde would get to choose one of the XL weyrs in the Weyrling Quadrant for herself: L01.05, L01.18, L02.09, L02.20, L03.13, L04.11, L05.10, L05.20, L06.13, L07.10, or L08.07. Those are all extra large weyrs, so she'd get her own private bathing cavern. Small, but private. Amai gets her own private sleeping room/living room combo, but she doesn't get her own office. That would be located one of the levels above or below the living/dining cavern areas. And yes, this is a running thread. However, if you want to go ahead and stake out your future home for his weyrling days, then another home for his post-weyrling days, go ahead and post them now. It's not like we're going to run out of room anytime soon. :-)

I know it won'tr be for a while yet, but thought it couldn't hurt to reserve a place. Healer private quarters include a sleeping room and a living room. Not astonishingly spacious, but comfy. All crafters have quarters near the area they work in. Quarters are located in the levels above the ground floor, and more below the ground floor. MOST quarters do not have 'windows' or Weyr Bowl access. You have to walk through the tunnels to get to 'em. As for D'nali: Level 3 in the Northeast Quadrant doesn't have 21 weyrs. How about L03.05? That's a large on the same level, in the same quadrant - just at the other end of it.

Okay, Deb, took you at your word. :-) All three are in the Southwest Quadrant (dockyards) Radani: L04.01, small P'dron: L04.02, medium M'lin: L04.03, large They'll be sharing a bathing cavern. That help the plotting, too?

Alissi will take queenrider weyr #9.
D'vran: NEQ L2.16 (L). D'mitri: NEQ L2.11 (M). R'navek and Senara want NEQ L9.23 (DBL) T'guy: SWQ L2.25 (M). He wants a view of the beach.

Um...If St'van's weyr is NE L1.07, that would put him over the Lake, not over the queenriders' weyrs. He would need something in the 20's to be located above the queenriders. Let me know where this changes to or if it can be changed. I'm thinking the table would need to be tweaked, as there is no large weyr on Level 1 in the northeast quadrant above the queenriders. There are just mediums, doubles, and smalls in that location.

How did I not notice this before? I must know where my people are living. So exciting to know where they are Tarina and her son will take whichever goldrider weyr is left. I saw Alissi took #9, but I did not see if anyone took another one. When D'gon gets here, he will need a weyr. SWQ L1:22 (XL) first choice, SWQ L2:26 (XL) 2nd choice, SWQ L3:06 (XL) 3rd choice. My greenriders (Kadyra, Ildaura, Amaris), I will put together. SEQ L3:18,19,22 (S) first choice, SEQ L4:21,23,24 (S) 2nd choice, SEQ L5:5,6,8 (S) 3rd choice, and SEQ L6:8,9,11 (S) 4th choice Journeyman Healer Iriel will be somewhere (anywhere) in crafter alley.
