This is the virtual component to StarRise Weyr, a fan club based on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. StarRise Weyr is primarily an amateur writer's club.
Members create Pernese "personas" and write stories based on them for our quarterly fanzine, Out Of The Blue. Writing stories is not mandatory, however.
Many StarRise members enjoy simply reading the fanzine or participating on our bulletin board.

That's a very handy chart which will certainly help me (and probably others as well) figure out where they're weyrlings are in the scheme of things! Also, for the first aid/Healer sections I'd be happy to volunteer Trellyn if anyone needs a break from the teaching. Or talk to each of the members with the required crafter characters and see if one wants to be permanently assigned. If I do it that way, then Chyler will be the assigned dragonhealer-teacher.
