This is the virtual component to StarRise Weyr, a fan club based on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. StarRise Weyr is primarily an amateur writer's club.
Members create Pernese "personas" and write stories based on them for our quarterly fanzine, Out Of The Blue. Writing stories is not mandatory, however.
Many StarRise members enjoy simply reading the fanzine or participating on our bulletin board.

If you need blood at the hatching feel free to borrow (use/maim/kill) one of the NPCs I just posted, just let us know!
